EQE qualified European Patent Attorney with significant expertise in the exploitation of the innovation, in IPR strategic management, in patents and technology valuation, in financial advisory services and in IPR education. Dr. Vavekis has more than 20 years of professional experience in managerial and technical positions mainly in the Financial, Scientific and Legal sector. His strongest point is passion and love for his profession. He holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry, a PhD in Chemical Physics, a postgraduate diploma in European Patent Litigation (from CEIPI for representation in UPC), a Master in Accounting and Finance, and an International MBA. He is a certified Mediator by the Ministry of Justice in Greece. Hιs main professional activities include drafting and prosecution of Patents, Technology Transfer consulting, commercialization and valuation of innovation and participation in consortia of innovative European Projects. He is the founder and administrator of a private praxis offering patent attorney consulting and patent valuation services and he is co-founder in an innovative spinoff company. He has significant experience in Standard Essential Patents and FRAND Licensing. He has co-authored papers in top quality peer review scientific journals among them Science and PR.
