The second call of the European initiative EENergy, which aims to enhance the energy efficiency and sustainability of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) across Europe, concluded with highly positive results. The PRAXI Network once again demonstrated its dynamic presence and decisive contribution to strengthening Greek entrepreneurship.
A total of 126 applications were submitted by Greek SMEs under the second EENergy call, placing Greece in 2nd place across Europe in terms of participation, just behind Ukraine. This impressive level of engagement highlights the importance of the green transition for Greek businesses and their willingness to adapt to the evolving demands of the market.
Out of the 126 applications, 102 were submitted with the support of the PRAXI Network, underscoring its effective guidance and commitment to assisting Greek SMEs on issues related to sustainability and innovation.
From the submitted proposals, 22 have already been approved, and the corresponding companies are set to receive funding of up to €10,000 to implement energy efficiency projects that will reduce their annual energy consumption by at least 5%.
These actions will be carried out within the framework of a comprehensive implementation plan.
The strong participation of Greek SMEs underscores their growing orientation toward a greener and more sustainable business model, confirming that energy efficiency and innovation are now at the core of their development strategies.
