EMJM ACES-STAR Master’s Programme: Fees & Application Process

PRAXI Network, one of the leading innovation support organizations in Europe, supports the University of Crete in the implementation of the ACES – STAR Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Aquaculture, Environment and Society (EMJMD ACES-STAR).

The Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree ACES-STAR is one of the most internationally recognized postgraduate programmes in the field of aquaculture. The programme is delivered across three top European universities, offering students a unique academic and professional experience.

Specifically, students study at:

The programme includes:

  • Three semesters (6 months each) at the partner institutions
  • A six-month dissertation with an affiliated partner of the student’s choice
  • An optional three-month industry placement in an aquaculture-related organisation (Semester 2)

Applications for ACES-STAR – September 2026 Intake

Applications for the September 2026 intake are now open. To complete an application, candidates must submit:

  • All required supporting documents

Scholarships & Fees

A. Self-Funding Applicants

  • International students (non-EU): €5,000 per academic year
  • EU/UK students: €2,500 per academic year
    (fees may be subject to change)

Deadlines

  • 31 July 2026 – Applicants from United Kingdom Electronic Travel Authorisation countries
  • 29 May 2026 – Applicants from all other countries

B. Fully Funded Scholarships

ACES-STAR offers fully funded scholarships supported by the EACEA of the European Union. These scholarships cover:

  • 100% of tuition fees
  • Full insurance for the duration of the programme
  • A monthly stipend of €1,400 for living expenses, travel and relocation costs

Note: Erasmus Mundus scholarships are subject to availability.

Applications for fully funded scholarships are now closed, except for applicants from the following countries:

  • Albania
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Kosovo
  • Montenegro
  • North Macedonia
  • Serbia
  • Türkiye

EMJM ACES-STAR – Graduate Career Prospects
