Call for Innovative Startups to Pitch to Early-Stage Investors

Innovative Greek startups will have the opportunity to pitch their investment proposals and develop strategic collaborations with early-stage investors by participating in the European Angel Investment Summit 2025, which will take place in Brussels on 28–29 October 2025.

The European Angel Investment Summit is the leading platform for dialogue between EU institutions and the world of business angels, venture capital funds, and startups, aiming to shape a stronger innovation ecosystem. The 2025 edition will host top European angel investors, industry leaders, and experienced professionals from various sectors, bringing together early-stage investors – angels, VCs, corporate and other investors – from over 40 countries across Europe and beyond, united in their mission to support and scale innovative ventures with global potential.

The Summit is organized by the European Business Angels Network (EBAN) in collaboration with the European Commission, the InvestEU Portal, and the Enterprise Europe Network. The PRAXI Network, coordinator of Enterprise Europe Network – Hellas, actively supports the participation of Greek innovative businesses in the event.

Who Can Apply

The call is addressed to innovative companies:

• Operating in Deep Tech, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technologies, or Space & DefenceTech
• At early-stage funding rounds (pre-seed, seed, Series A)
• Actively fundraising and seeking equity investment between €150K – €2M (Priority will be given to startups already backed by investors)
• Based in any EU country

Application Process

Interested startups can submit their investment proposal through the official InvestEU Portal by 15 September 2025, carefully following the relevant application instructions.

Selection Process

1. Submit your application for the EBAN Congress 2025 via the InvestEU Portal by 15 September.
2. Following the pre-selection phase, shortlisted companies will be invited to submit a short pitch video.
3. The first round of selections will take place on 7 September, and the final selection will be concluded by 15 September. EBAN will inform applicants about the status of their application accordingly.
