The Hellenic Digital Health Cluster (HDHC) aims to support the development of the digital health sector in Greece, to promote the competitiveness of the sector in the country and abroad, to strengthen the standardization and quality upgrade of the produced digital products and to facilitate business collaborations, as well as strengthen research between local and international companies, research groups and knowledge centers. The implementation of the project will support companies to improve and develop their products, as well as to create new products of high quality and innovation. It is expected that the HDHC will substantially contribute to the development and competitiveness of the e-health sector in Greece. It will also promote collaborations between companies and create new synergies, so that some companies can advance their activities in the field of eHealth. Strengthening innovation in the fields of digital health and biomedicine with the collaboration of researchers and businesses will contribute to the development of internationally competitive products, medical technologies and systems, applications and services as well as to the expansion of value chains. HDHC’s goal is to develop scientific, technological and business excellence in the eHealth industry in entities active in the Greek area for the development of value-added products and services aimed at the global market.
