As part of the ongoing collaboration between the PRAXI Network and Brookstreet Equity Partners LLP, within the event series Connecting the Dots of Today, Building the Future of Tomorrow, the second round of the Pitch Competition 2025 took place on July 16th, 2025.

Six (6) innovative Greek startups had the opportunity to present their solutions to international investors and prominent figures of the business and investment community, competing for a place in the Grand Finale, which will be held live in London in November 2025.

The winners who qualified

• Coffeeco
  Coffeeco impressed the jury with its pioneering business model that upcycles used coffee grounds to create high-quality natural personal care products. Through its sustainable innovation and circular economy approach, the company combines environmental consciousness with commercial potential.
• PhosPrint
  PhosPrint showcased advanced solutions in the field of regenerative medicine, utilizing 3D bioprinting technology for the targeted treatment of tissues and organs. Their approach promotes personalized medical care and opens new horizons in health and biotechnology.

The winners were selected by a distinguished panel of judges, who evaluated each application based on innovation, commercial potential, impact, and growth prospects.

Warm congratulations to the winners and sincere thanks to all participating companies, who once again demonstrated the dynamism and international orientation of the Greek innovation ecosystem.

Participating startups

The second phase of the competition attracted high-quality entries from the Greek innovation ecosystem. The six startups that presented their solutions (in alphabetical order) were:

• maMEDS
• PhosPrint
• rePolis
• Star Sleep

Each team presented their innovative ideas with professionalism and creativity, contributing to a high-level competitive environment.

The judging panel

The winners were selected based on a combined evaluation of the jury and the public vote.

The panel consisted of:

• Omiros D. Sarikas – Managing Partner, Brookstreet Equity Partners LLP
  An experienced investor and M&A architect, leading global investments in AI, green technology, and longevity.
• Panos Papazoglou – Board Member, Alpha Bank | Former CEO, EY Greece
  With decades of experience in professional services, offering insight into governance, growth, and scaling.
• Alexandros Nousias – Managing Director, Envolve Entrepreneurship
  Supporting early-stage startups through funding, mentoring, and inclusive innovation policies.
• Dr. Konstantinos Vavekis – Technology Transfer Expert, PRAXI Network
  A seasoned expert in innovation management and technology transfer, bridging research with the market to promote the commercialization of knowledge and intellectual property.

What’s next

The Pitch Competition 2025 continues with one more online round scheduled until October 2025. The winners of each round will compete in the Grand Finale, which will take place in person in London at the end of the year, in front of an international audience of investors and innovation leaders.
